Sport and foot care - feet deserve attentiveness

 

It is certain that sport is part of a healthy lifestyle. However, depending on the type of physical exercise, its exaggeration can lead to problems with the feet. The entire musculoskeletal system can suffer as a result. So especially for athletes, foot care should not be missing in the daily training routine. The feet form a functional unit with the ankle and knee joints, the hips and the spine. Complications of the foot therefore affect the entire body statics. Excessive stress can initially lead to skin problems with corresponding pain symptoms. They change the movement sequences during sport. In the long term, this instability can result in a pelvic obliquity, and the associated poor posture can lead to degenerative wear and tear of the joints. Movement pain can be the result.
